What digital dollars are
USDC (USD Coin) is a stablecoin designed to hold a value equivalent to one US dollar. Every USDC is intended to be redeemable for dollars at face value, and its value is backed by reserves made up of dollar-denominated assets, such as cash and short-term US Treasury securities.
In practice, USDC lets you use dollars in digital form, transferring them across a blockchain without necessarily having to go through a traditional bank transfer.
Money with no opening hours
With USDC you can send and receive digital dollars in moments, 24 hours a day, every day, even between people living in different countries or on different continents, without paying the cost of an international wire or money transfer.
You can split a bill with a friend, pay someone back, send money to a family member, or receive a fee or payments for your professional work — all it takes is a compatible address or, with keyx, simply their email address.
Transfers happen on the blockchain: timing depends on the network and on operating conditions, generally within a couple of minutes, and is not tied to traditional banking hours.

Send to anyone
With keyx, you can send USDC to any address compatible with Arbitrum or simply enter the recipient's email address, even if they don't have a keyx account yet.
The recipient will receive a notification and can create their own keyx wallet to claim the funds. If the transfer isn't claimed within seven days, the USDC will automatically be returned to the sender, in accordance with the service terms.
